PITT’S GRANDMOTHER URGES HIM TO TAKE NEW ROMANCE SLOWLY

Filed under:

BRAD PITT’s grandmother has advised the FIGHT CLUB star to take his blossoming romance with ANGELINA JOLIE slowly, because his family still haven’t got over his divorce from JENNIFER ANISTON.

Pitt was plagued by rumours of an affair with his MR AND MRS SMITH co-star before his split from ex-wife Aniston was announced in January (05) - and his relatives are concerned about Jolie’s suitability because she has been divorced twice before reaching her 30th birthday.

BETTY RUSSELL says, “The family want Brad to go slow. Angelina’s been married twice, Brad is just divorced.

“The family still love Jennifer Aniston.”

My Chemical Romance urges fans not to buy new record

Rocker Gerard Way is begging My Chemical Romance fans not to buy the group's hit new album "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" this week and donate the money to charity instead. The singer wants fans to plough money into relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and believes album money should be given away instead. "If you're gonna go buy our record this week, don't buy our record just donate to the Red Cross or anything you think can help the hurricane victims," Way said, speaking on MTV's Total Request Live show yesterday. Chemical Romance blossoms with angst

A provocative drawing of blood-spattered lovers adorns the cover of "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge," the hit album by My Chemical Romance. The songs are likewise dark, its subjects wounded and death-obsessed. The band rages through angst-filled, punk-pop blasts that bear such titles as "The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You" and "It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a [Expletive] Deathwish." The band members are not the most cheerful crew, but they've grabbed listeners viscerally as few other groups have recently. My Chemical Romance, which toured with Green Day this past spring, has become a bona fide MTV favorite -

’Cafe’ romance turns into a worldly affair

It's tempting to call HBO's ''The Girl in the Cafe" a ''lovely little film." But that lovely little phrase doesn't quite capture its prickly underside, the tiny jabs of truth it offers along its silky way. Written by Richard Curtis, who wrote ''Four Weddings and a Funeral" and ''Notting Hill," the movie is one of his typically warm romances about two lost souls. But it's set at a high-stakes G8 economic summit in Iceland, and it winds up making a few needle-sharp points about the failings of global bureaucracy. What begins as a softly personal love story extends seamlessly into
