Bachchan to romance Tabu

As Amitabh Bachchan turns 64 this week, his career will embark on yet another journey. He will be paired opposite Tabu in a mature love story to be directed by adman R Balkrishnan.
Tabu and Amitabh were supposed to do a film about a father-in-law and daughterin-law some years ago, but the project never materialised. Talking about the new project, Big B says, “It’s a powerful love story between a woman and an older man.”
Tabu has a fan in Amitabh who has always admired her acting prowess. “She’s powerful, and truly top-of-the-line. And to be doing something as unconventional as this with her will be a great challenge,"he says. Balkrishnan’s film will be AB’s next project in early 2006.
