Le Portrait de Petite Cossette was released by Geneon Home Entertainment mid-September.
In my opinion, it will be the best bet this year for an anime release far different than anything else. The release is only three episodes long (at about forty minutes each), but a lot can happen in just three episodes.
However, this anime is hard to “get into,” for at least two reasons; it has an over-abundance of abnormal camera takes such as jump cuts, iris lens, swipe cuts, bird’s eye views, canted camera angles, fish eye lens, and more. In spite of the number of abnormal visual angles if the viewer sticks with it, the release will pull him (or her) in. Additionally, the story is very difficult to understand. I don’t know whether I’m denser than usual or not, but the release seems to me extremely difficult to get into for the first half hour. It seemed to toss information out randomly.
The viewer has to be determined in order to get to the point of this release. I had to watch it twice, carefully, before I could actually begin to grasp the what it was really all about.

When Sidmouth Musical Comedy Society decided to put on Little Shop of Horrors, the team knew that it would be a hugely enjoyable show for cast and audience alike.
They also knew that it would be difficult to get people who did not know the show to come and see it.
The title is not the most inspiring, giving the impression that it is going to be dark and gloomy.
On the contrary, Little Shop Of Horrors is a 'spoof' horror based loosely on the 1960 comedy film of the same name.

It was a fine affair for Darcie Denkert's A Fine Romance. The book, which is about the musical love affair between Broadway and Hollywood, had its release party on October 20 at the Times Square Studios. Subtitled "The Magic. The Mayhem. The Musicals," the tome is an amalgam of everyone--and everything--you'd want to know about material that went from Broadway to Hollywood and vice versa. Several Broadway stars were on hand to toast the author--and to help the terrific causes that the book serves: all proceeds benefit the Actors' Fund as well as the Motion Picture Television Fund.
