Nicole Kidman is keeping her budding romance with Keith Urban low key because she doesn’t want to scare him off.
The stunning actress is reportedly worried the media attention that surrounds her relationships would put too much pressure on the country singer.
A friend revealed: “Nicole is terrified that all the attention will scare him away. She’s found a special guy in Keith.”
So far the couple have enjoyed a string of romantic, secret dates. A source said: “They’re desperate to keep it under wraps. Every one of Nicole’s romances since Tom (Cruise) has blown up. She’s sworn she’s not going to let that happen this time.”
The insider added to Britain’s Grazia magazine: “She doesn’t want Keith running for the hills because the world expects them to get engaged after a handful of dates.”

"Access Hollywood" reported Monday the duo appeared cozy sharing a motorcycle seat and lunch last week in Woodstock, N.Y.
