Loving couple’s online romance

Filed under:

THEY are more than friends reunited - Andrew Clydesdale and Louise Davies are husband and wife.

The happy couple tied the knot at a ceremony at Magdalene College, Cambridge on Saturday.

But it might never have happened but for a chance glance at the now famous website that has brought thousands in contact once more with old pals.

The couple knew each other at Impington Village College but Andrew left in 1991 without telling Louise how he felt about her.

Sixth-former Louise visited Andrew when he was at university in Newcastle but when she went to university in Surrey, and he went to work abroad, they lost touch.

Ten years later, Andrew was browsing the Friends Reunited site and found Louise’s details. He worked up the courage to contact her and found they were both living in London.

Andrew, an insurance underwriter from Dry Drayton, arranged to meet and this time the course of true love ran smooth.
