Rachael Leigh Cook’s ‘Las Vegas’ Romance Heats Up

Filed under:

Rachael Leigh Cook and Josh Duhamel will be heating up NBC’s “Las Vegas” with their romance on the series’ new season, which launches Monday (9/19) – but beautiful Cook admits she can only speculate about how long it’ll last.

“It’s a great gig so far, but I don’t know what’s going to happen. When I started, it was going to be four episodes, then it went up to five – but they have so many regulars to write for, and a lot of guest stars. And they have Lara Flynn Boyle and more of Cheryl Ladd this season,” she points out.

Still, Cook is highly appreciative. “Everyone told me Josh is great to work with, but I was still surprised by how much he goes out of his way to make people comfortable. He’s the nicest guy ever,” she says. Plus, it’s the 21st century, not the 19th, like the recent “Into the West” miniseries in which she costarred. “I cannot take one more corset,” she says. “I love tile floors instead of walking around in the dirt.”
