Cindy Aldrich of 10460 N.W. 107th Ave. in Granger spends a lot of time on her backyard deck. She likes to relax with her husband as they listen to the water falling over rocks into their pond.
“They just seem so relaxing to hear that sound of the water all the time,” Aldrich said.
The pond is filled with koi and goldfish, with more appearing each year. Some of the plants in and around the water include cannas, taros and lilies.
Aldrich is a member of the Central Iowa Water Garden Association. Her pond will be included in the association’s tour Sunday. Admission is $10 for the tour.

You've never heard of snuggle tubing.
That's because a new gimmick for singles crops up every day. From cuddle parties to singles nights at Wal-Mart, as long as there are singles to make money off of, companies will devise absurd things for us to do.
After dating Deb for more than six months, it wasn't hard to convince her we needed to mix things up. Our typical date — sitting on the couch and talking about what to do for dinner — was getting a little old.
Snuggle tubing, then, sounded perfect. Regular "tubing," an activity meant for water enthusiasts too lazy to
Private moments separate you from unsanctioned intrusions. No shields or insecurities to hide behind, it's your time and yours alone. When you intentionally share your extremely personal occasions with another person, the experience can be explosive and deeply unifying.

Letting someone into your secluded space can create an intense sexual arousal. Not only is there no clothes to hide behind but there is an immense feeling of purity when you're underneath the water.

Last weekend Tommy and I visited my mother in Redding. Mom gave us a gift certificate for the Redding Bed and Breakfast, a delightful farmhouse run by Lacy LaMoire.
We had visions of going out dancing or dining somewhere quaint, but after a day at Burney Falls we were tired and ready just to sit in the hot tub and sip wine.
Lacy toured us through the house, which only had one other room rented out. She has a nice collection of antiques and has made headboards out of old fireplace hearths.
I'd never stayed at a B&B before, so
